Concealed Carry Law Updates

The South Carolina Legislature recently passed S. 308. With it’s passage, South Carolina CWP holders are now permitted to legally carry a firearm into restaurants that serve alcohol providing the permit holder does NOT consume alcohol. In addition, with the passage of S. 308, CWP holders are now permitted to store their firearm in the glove compartment, center console, map pocket on the side of the door or under the seat provided the firearm is secured from unexpected movement or unauthorized access.
